TEFW IV
..."my pain is so real
it's source uncertain
never thought i'd feel
my course uncertain
slip beneath the sorrow
i dream of tommorrow
what was once bright and clear
now dark and gray my dear
out on the edge of town
stumbled hard lying on the ground
how will i find my way back home?
happened fast there was no sound
light went out left me spun around
how will i find my way back home?
all those years never took the time
understand what was flying by
now tonight with precious few
i try to say goodbye to you
...........................................unfinished.
it's source uncertain
never thought i'd feel
my course uncertain
slip beneath the sorrow
i dream of tommorrow
what was once bright and clear
now dark and gray my dear
out on the edge of town
stumbled hard lying on the ground
how will i find my way back home?
happened fast there was no sound
light went out left me spun around
how will i find my way back home?
all those years never took the time
understand what was flying by
now tonight with precious few
i try to say goodbye to you
...........................................unfinished.

Poem from an old notebook
---If all this were I to do again
this life, this venture, this subtle ride
of sudden turns and blind drives
of quickened pulse and long interludes
that tempt the heart and steal thy breath
in moments won but often lose
these mistakes, be them mine i've made
have my life been made of them
and they the reason that I
all this I'd do again.
